our guys lost to CJC today..
damn.. yan long's wan was a really close fight...
as much as he fought really hard and fired up..
the tall and lean CJ guy won the last point with a FREAK shot with the shuttle toppling over the net rite at the very last moment!!!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u could hear us scream in pAin..
poor yan long.. cried..
arGh.. more pain..
the cj guy was really sporting.. despite the many bad nets he made... he juz played his stuff.. and actually won...
he walked over to the on the verge of breaking down yl and patted him..
he gave a slight hug and raised his hand to thank him for the great game...
but yl....
sigh..
yl.. he juz shook him off and refused to shake hands!!!
well.. i really admire yl's on court fighting spirit..
but sometimes he's too drama mama.. and ...
.. of the simplest things of being a sportsman - sportsmanship.. he doesnt have it!
=( sadly...
anw as rachel said.. new found respect for CJ...
not only the guy.. but the team as a whole..
they agreed to allow the 2nd doubles to play if tt is our players were fit enough to..
well..
not...
sigh.. this was wad happened.. i shall juz briefly run through the very sad and painful event..
weiyang and junjie were both very prepared and ready for their match - 2nd doubles..
they were doing quite well actually..
and then all of a sudden.. wy stretched out to reach for a far shot and ended up tearing his hemstring from the top all the way to the bottom..
we searched ard for spray.. but we din have any!! a kind hearted MI soul offered his..
thank you..
but tearing a muscle is no laughing matter and of cuz no matter how much u spray.. the pain wont go away..
they had to pull out of the game..
a walkover u mite call it..
and we carried on with kelvin playing 3rd singles.. though the outcome was already known..
still cj was really sporting and continued to play...
hope the guys recover from this saddening day.. both mentally and physically..
